John quickly arranged for my vehicle to be repaired, he explained in simple understandable terms the options and the process to get my car repaired. Fast service aids in pending sale of a home
We were days away from closing our home sale, looking forward to moving into a new home. Then a fire caused extensive damage to our home. One of our first worries was, "Will this fire affect the pending sale of our home?" We reported the loss and were assured that Oregon Mutual would take good care of us.

The adjuster called immediately to answer our questions and assured us that OMI would do all they could to save the sale of our home. He listened to us and understood how important this sale was, coordinating repairs involving us and the new buyers. We were both extremely impressed and happy with the way the claim was handled. The sale went through and the new buyers were so impressed they selected Oregon Mutual as their new insurance company!

Adjuster follows up on promise
I’m eighty-one, a widow, and live alone on the Oregon coast. A flood damaged my car. As one could imagine, losing my car was a stressful ordeal as I rely heavily on this transportation. Your adjuster Dennis went the extra mile by taking the time to understand the situation and how stressful this was for me. He returned phone calls promptly, answered all my inquiries, and was very sympathetic and then did what he said he would do. He followed up on his promises.

Bookings for busy weekend saved
We were gearing up for a busy weekend; all of our rooms were booked. On Wednesday morning at 6:30 a.m. a fire caused extensive smoke damage throughout the hotel. We did not want to cancel the weekend reservations. By 9 a.m. the OMI adjuster Terry was on the phone with our manager. She listened and quickly realized she needed to move fast to save the weekend for us. She rearranged her schedule so she could investigate and inspect the damage. She also assured us that she would do everything she could to help and then did just that. She immediately called a cleaning company who quickly assembled a crew that arrived later that day and began to clean. The cleaning crew was finished before the 3 p.m. check-in on Friday so guests could stay as planned. We were extremely pleased and appreciated Terry's efforts to get the loss handled so we did not lose our bookings.

Genuine concern and attention to special needs
Our insureds had a large water damage claim in which their home was severely damaged. Due to the size and nature of the claim, the insureds' lives and daily routines were significantly disrupted.
